This project is a diversion more than anything.

Lindsay, I'm glad you laughed, it was meant to be funny. Heck, it is funny, and that's what I like about the project.

Froshty, I've thought about making a door from the music room to the back porch as well. That would open up the house a lot. I've devised a plan that would make the patio look like cobble stones.

By the way, thanks to all three of you for taking the time and effort to comment on my blog!IMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13783233203208378439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6446478924751393697.post-5587614452968025162007-07-06T07:04:00.000-07:002007-07-06T07:04:00.000-07:00That backyard has begged for a patio for years. Unfortunately, this was pipe dream for someone who spent most of her time in that house either pregnant or having huge parties. I also envisioned dividing the backporch into two rooms and then building out the one closest to your music room into a sun room, which also included hacking a door through the wall of your music room. Anyway, I can't wait to see how it comes out.Froshtyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04917515535096296726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6446478924751393697.post-41690655167466388432007-07-04T13:47:00.000-07:002007-07-04T13:47:00.000-07:00I kept laughing out loud over this post. Or better yet, a reality show called "The Graveyard Shift" or "Grassroots" or "Sticks and Stones." (Okay, that's probably enough).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6446478924751393697.post-13036864766454980232007-07-04T09:27:00.000-07:002007-07-04T09:27:00.000-07:00Boy, if I knew you were so handy, I'd have invited...Boy, if I knew you were so handy, I'd have invited you up here for the summer and put you to work repairing our deck. Then again, maybe it's Mike I really need for that.Emily Bartonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13971084813206845680noreply@blogger.com
