Okay, I tried but I was unable to embed this video this go round. I'm going to keep trying, but until then, here is a link to a youtube video of me rambling somewhat incoherently.
Very amusing! I liked the slurping noises in the background. Are you planning to do cooking tutorials for us? If so, I would agree that scarfing food is not good, but doing the seductive Nigella gastroporn thing might be okay.
HA!!! Ian you're freakin' hilarious! I don't think that I've laughed so hard in days. I miss our mutual admissions of procrastination in the library and want you to know that I'm performing some tricky calculations AS YOU READ THIS on my fancy new calculator.
I thought I might get some responses to this. Charlotte, I realize that the beginning of the clip is a little vague and I talk about "doing it in the kitchen." I meant shooting cooking demos but it came out kind of wrong. I hope it got cleared up.
Litlove, you were right not to listen, I kind of blathered on. Thanks for the compliment. This was after many trial runs where I learned not to turn sideways so my goofy profile couldn't be viewed.
Jeremy, expect a visit from me asking for a complicated decaf latte at Starbucks tomorrow. I'm glad you like the calculator, maybe you can use it to procratinate in a math class.
Yes Danny I should do cooking demos. The only problem is I only have this cheap little one shot digital camera. But maybe that would make it all the better.
Jeremy, I need you to tutor me in embeding videos. I've done it once but i can't figure it out now for some reason. I'm using my little GE, the same one I used to do the Booker Frisbee clip.
Emily, I am definitely coming to Penn soon, after graduation. I want to go get a real philly cheese steak. Can we do that?
I use this blog to write about my life primarily. I don't post regularly, but I try to get at least 2 posts in a month and sometimes more. I'm about to start a masters in history after 15 years as a catering chef. I like goals, even if I don't reach all of them.

Well, aren't you cute! Sorry, I was so busy watching you I didn't really listen to what you were saying!

Love it, and hope it IS followed by a series of cooking demonstrations! Bring 'em on, we all need help in the kitchen.

Two things:
1) Are you embeding the vid in the Edit html option?
2) What camera are you using?
No fair, again (first Beowulf and now this). I want private cooking lessons, not lessons you're sharing with the world. When are you coming to PA?

I like your idea of giving tips about how to teach cooking without actually teaching cooking. I think that this should become a series of videos.
Froshty,
I already did some "pilots" but youtube won't support their length. I cooked a breakfast omelete and lavash chips. Pretty goofy.
Hey, you look great on the small screen. Hope you'll do some more. I liked Booker's cameo, too.
